fun fact: dad's most memorable college class was class on franz kafka. (comparable to one of wake forest's first-year seminars.) at the time he said it was almost painful to read kafka's novels; one detailed the life of a man who was transformed into a beetle. but the class managed to be the most memorable one of his undergraduate career! (and maybe graduate too?)
